The Font World

If you're like me, you probably have an effect that the size of a letter style and more importantly their people might be surprised at how little you get. Simon Garfield has written a book about it now - "Just My Type 'entitled - an entire book about fonts!

I agree that the fonts are important to us, I actually went to a dinner party last night and engaged in a conversation centered around what font to use in our companies prefer to email us! (That I can be unhappy just friends.) We discussed how we old-school Nokia font in a text message loved, we now see our Blackberry everyday typeface (trivial but important in our lives!) I definitely also believe that a person's handwriting can not talk about the amount of imagination can not make them the importance of choosing the right font for the right purpose and never be ignored. Having said this, I could never truly reflect the font type or to present a serious subject of discussion?

I recently by Simon Garfield BBC website that is very passionate about the importance of typeface was read an article. This is totally old-school favorite that was centered around slating - 'Comic Sans'! - It was an interesting read, but surprisingly very painful. This view found its geeky but sweet friend like school was bullied in the playground. Poor humor suffered some serious injuries.

Garfield describes it as a point -

'Irritably simple, so apparently written by a young child. Helvetica is everywhere and is simple, but it usually is, or at least the modern Swiss corporate right air of sophistication. Comic Sans only smirks at you, and be printed in several colors and breeds - "Ah!

As Garfield says - 'EasyJet to Facebook from, clothing label, the road signs, we're kind of surrounded by the world "- so maybe it is quite true that we feel passionate about this subject because it effects our everyday

Next on my journey of "testimonial" I have a quiz that Garfield in his book "Just My Type" took the recommended

Try it when you get a moment, it's a very strange video of a Freudian character who asks questions about your personality by the host. He is the type of font that suits you best to match you with your assessment. I'm apparently Pistilli Roman - traditional and vocal. Good to know.

Each book is Garfield, an angle that shows the way to get where life is written for the guidance. There is a special section that caught my attention -

"September 25, 2007, a woman named Vicki Walker is a type of crime so objectionable that he not only cost their jobs, but about his sanity Walker is a New Zealand health agency was working as an accountant, and there was an email. Send alas, the only rules that everyone knows that email is ever ignored. uppercase letters look like someone you hate and are screaming.
